Are there any penalties for withdrawing my funds earlier than the due date?

Yes, redemptions initiated within the holding period of the fund (between zer0(0) days to 25 days depending on the particular type of investment) are subject to a 20% penal charge on only the interest accrued by the amount to be withdrawn.
